1. General Policy
Due to the intangible and immediately accessible nature of our digital products, BLOCKSHELL® operates a strict no-refund policy for digital downloads after purchase. All sales of BLOCKSHELL® software licenses are final once the product has been downloaded, accessed, or a license key has been issued.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, and that you waive any statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction) once the digital product has been supplied.
2. Exceptions (Discretionary Refunds)
BLOCKSHELL® may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund request only under the following exceptional circumstances:
- Complete Non-Functionality: The software fails to install or launch at all on a system that meets the minimum specified technical requirements, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable period.
- Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product twice. Proof of both transactions will be required.
- Unauthorized Purchase: You can provide compelling evidence that the purchase was made fraudulently without your authorization.
3. Non-Qualifying Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted for any of the following reasons:
- Change of mind after purchase or download.
- Partial use of the product.
- Failure to achieve a desired certification, exam result, or skill level.
- Dissatisfaction with the content, scope, or complexity of the training materials.
- Inability to apply learned concepts in a real-world environment.
- Lack of technical knowledge to operate the software.
- Purchasing the incorrect product (it is the customer's responsibility to review product descriptions before purchasing).
- System compatibility issues arising from your own hardware, software, or configuration that were not pre-approved as compatible.
4. How to Request a Refund Consideration
If you believe your situation qualifies under the exceptions in Section 2, you must:
- Contact our support team at support@blockshell.app within 7 days of your original purchase.
- Provide your order number, the email used for purchase, and a detailed description of the issue.
- Cooperate fully with our support team's troubleshooting steps to verify the claimed non-functionality.
All decisions regarding refunds are final and at the sole discretion of BLOCKSHELL®.
